Wednesday 12th of Jurly. I return back to the public hospital in Islamabad for further inspection and treatment for my infected eye. The treatment costs me a ridiculous amount of 5 Pakistani rupees which is about 1,5 cents. I get diagnosed with Conjunctivitis aka pink eye and get prescribed some drops and tinctures to treat my eye. Visiting the hospital I somehow get the weird feeling of gratitude. That I am relatively healthy and am going to be fine.
And even if the treatment would’ve been more costly I always knew I could rely on my sponsors @dr_walter and my travel and health insurance PRO TRIP WORLD. If you plan an adventurous trip I highly recommend you check them out.

I meet Daniel and Felix from @somehowtoindia at the hostel in Islamabsd and they also happen to be waiting for their visa to India. They even got an appointment at the Indian high commission so I ask if I can just tag along and – almost to say: of course – I get lucky. There is my passport with a real visa to India. After 3 weeks of waiting and getting slightly nervous.

With the visa in the pocket it’s time to head towards the last stop in Pakistan: Lahore. A city famous for food but also with a reputation to be much more liberal Than other cities in Pakistan. We treat ourselves to a bus and after three weeks in the North are almost a bit overwhelming With so many people and especially vehicles… in Labore we explore a popular road near our hotel and we experience the big gap between wealth and poverty in Pakistan.
